Moving Average is filtering out the noise from random price fluctuations. And when you add multiple Moving Averages on the same chart you can get various formations of smooth Price Action moving. With MA CrossOver Alert Indicator you will be able to see more clearly when two MA indicators cross. Indicator will draw on the chart an Green arrow when faster MA crosses the slower MA from below to above. Red arrow will appear when faster MA crosses the slower MA from above to below.

  • EmailON: enable or disable alert sent to email

  • FastMA_Mode: Select which mode you want to use for the FastMA:

    • 0 = MODE_SMA (Simple moving average)

    • 1 = MODE_EMA (Exponential moving average)

    • 2 = MODE_SMMA (Smoothed moving average)

    • 3 = MODE_LWMA (Linear weighted moving average)

  • FastMA_Period: set Fast Moving Average period settings

  • FastPriceMode: set Fast Price mode setting

  • SlowMA_Mode:

    • 0 = MODE_SMA (Simple moving average)

    • 1 = MODE_EMA (Exponential moving average)

    • 2 = MODE_SMMA (Smoothed moving average)

    • 3 = MODE_LWMA (Linear weighted moving average)

  • SlowMA_Period: set Slow Moving Average period settings

How to install indicators in Metatrader 4

  • Download the MQ4/EX4 file into your C:Program Files\MetaTrader 4\indicators folder

  • If you download the zip file, unzip it and locate the MQ5 file in C:\Program Files\MetaTrader 4\MQL4\Indicators

  • Double-click on the file, the Mq4 editor will open and hit “Compile”

  • Restart your MetaTrader 4 application

  • On the left hand side, look for the “Navigator” window and under the “Indicators” tab you should find the Indicators
